What Jane needs....

I saw this on Heathers blog (thanks Heather!!) and thought I'd give it a try. What you ahve to do is go to google.com and type in " 'your name' needs "

Here are the things Jane needs:

Jane needs a nap - uh no - I'm full of energy today for some strange reason - can I keep the nap for another day please????

Jane needs a shot of adrenaline
: maybe adrenaline would help with all these mozzie bites? Or it might make me run like the wind ;)

Jane needs maintenance: hahahahaha - I'm WELL over due for my annual physical - like 3 years overdue hahahaha oops! As for the other kind of maintenance...well my ex has never paid the right amount so uh yeah that would be good!

Jane needs a break - In 45 minutes I will get my ten minutes of peace when I drive to the mailbox and then drive all around the golfcourse.....its my little break from the children....the afternoon is flying by and we haven't been for our walk yet so I think I will drive....

Jane needs help - I can't think of anything I need help with right now......a little help with dinner would be good - no idea what we are having yet!

Jane needs a male lead vocalist: - after listening to the children play on the singing star playsation game for the last week NO - I do NOT need a male vocalist........however, when I go for my drive a little later I will be listening to one of my favourite male vocalists, Josh Groban......

Tucking in.............

The children had fun cooking hotdogs and marshmallos on the fire last night.....Lloyd and I baked potatoes in the hot embers a little later on and had those with a lovely cheese salad.....potatoes always taste so much better when they are cooked in the fire......

Its like a zoo here........

Charlie and some chickens decided to join us for some food by the fire last night...Charlie was quick to eat anything that Sam dropped!

The sun going down on me....

last nights sunset for you! With the sun setting around 11pm I won't be taking too many sunset pictures for a while - I'm normally in bed at 10pm!!!!!

Making snowmen in May...

Abigail was busy making snowmen with the playdough this morning......Sam just wanted her to make balls for him to then squish.......

You dump - we pump........

Ardalta came out today to empty the septic tank......it doesn't take long...costs $140 a time and we get ours done about every 9 months....when you live out on an acreage it is a VERY important thing to have done regularly!!!!

Healthy houseplants......

A few of my houseplants that I fed and cleaned this morning.......including one of Dorothy's new leaf....and one of Dorothy showing how she is still flowering so beautifully....I have no idea why....Maybe its because I say goodnight to her every night.......I'm such a beginner when it comes to Orchids, so its sheer luck that she has survived.......isn't she beautiful?

Louise

Oh Louise I'm so sorry it rained for Olivers christening! What a shame! I hope you managed to have a good day and enjoyed the celebration anyway...

I'd love to see some pictures of you all!!!!!!!

A new week and the forecast is amazing :)

30c by Friday :) And they said today it would rain all day but so far it has been GORGEOUS...breezy but so warm and sunny...I have had all the doors open and the breeze is blowing through the house - and because its windy there are no mosquitoes around!

Welcome to a new week everyone! Anyone have exciting plans this week?

I have to work tomorrow and Thursday in the mornings.....the preschool teacher has had to travel to see her dying Father In Law, so I got a phone call late last night asking me to cover.....

I'm meeting Val for breakfast one morning.....not sure which yet as the car has to go in for a service one morning.....

Date night this week is hopefully the Wok Box which I still have not tried!!!! After that I'm not sure what we will do - maybe take a drive East some place.....take some photographs....

I want to buy a paddling pool for the children so they can cool off in the sun...and I'd like to find one for Charlie too.......it has to be very shallow though.....

This morning has been very productive......I was up early as Ardalta were coming to pump out the septic tank.....I did several loads of laundry, washed the floors, dusted the main floor, sorted clean laundry....washed some dishes, cleaned the kitchen and pantry (have to work on the fridge this afternoon)

Sam and Abigail spent ages playing playdough....oh and they also spent ages playinga game in Sams bedroom (while I washed the floors) - not sure what they were up to, but they were giggling a lot!

I let the chickens out of their coop for the day...they are so happy to see you in the mornings and happily follow you out of the coop...but they spend all day just walking around the coop - they don't wander off or anything.....

I fed the animals and gave them water.......let Charlie out.....

Oh and I also brought all of my indoor plants over to the kitchen sink and cleaned their leaves and watered them and gave them some feed.......Dorothy my Orchid is still flowering beautifully...wow how long do orchids normally flower????????? She's my gem :)

So this afternoon I plan to clean the fridge...then I want to clean the bathrooms upstairs and tidy my bedroom...we will walk down the lanes to the mailbox.....stop to say hi to the neighbours horse...and the other neighbours llamas and cows....maybe my CK magazine will finally arrive (gggrrrrr)

I have pictures to upload from yesterday AND from today.....

Thats my Monday!
