Swapbot............

Flower ATCs I made for a swap:

ATC's I made for a red and white ATC swap:

An ATC I made for an Easter Bunny ATC swap:

These ATC's are all going to the same person - I had to make three ATC's using my own digital photographs - I could create the ATC's any way I chose so long as I used my own photographs on the ATC:

I received this altered envelope and note card as part of the 'creative mail' swap I took part in - it was a fun swap to be in - nice to get decorated envelopes and fun letters in the mail! Im still enjoying taking part in the swaps on swapbot! For me it isn't so much about the ATC's themselves - although I do love creating the little ATC's and envelopes etc - but more than that, it's just so nice to open my mail box and find it filled with envelopes for ME - filled with little notes, stickers, scrapbooking supplies, papers....just little 'hellos' from around the world!!!!

A sunset for you....

One of the sunsets from this week.......

Movie time....

Another thing we've done this week during Spring Break is head to the movie theatre to see the movie 'Monsters Vs Aliens'. I expected the movie theatre to be packed because of it being Spring break and a matinee performance, so was shocked that it was only half full - for a new movie!

It was an ok movie. I liked the theme of it - especially for girls!!! (ie women can be strong in their own right and learning that you don't need to live in anyones shadow if they are not willing to live in yours)...... It was way above Sams head. He was happy as long as he was getting his pop corn though!!! And of course he loved the blue monsters eyeball juggling :) Cool trick - if only we could ALL do that!!!! It was a fun afternoon out :)

Hackers glow golf!!!!

One of the things we've done during Spring Break is visit the new glow golf centre in Sherwood Park - we give it a BIG thumbs up!!!! :) We had a GREAT time there :) Friendly, helpful staff, fun, clean centre!! We'll definitely be back soon!

Things are blooming in the Perennial house.....

I snapped this on Sunday when Lloyd and I went out for coffee...it might be too early to start gardening outside, but it isn't too early to be out 'window shopping' for ideas and inspiration and just a little bit of 'Spring hopefulness'..... ;)

This little beauty was out early to say hello to everyone anyway :)

Susannah's photography Scavenger Hunt

This months Creating Keepsakes magazine has a photography scavenger hunt in it - and suggests it as an idea for a family/ children's activity. It gives a list of things to photograph and the child has to go off and hunt for them using their imaginations and creative ideas to get the best shots!

I thought this was a great idea, so this afternoon I gave Susannah one of the lists from the article and she set off to take the pictures! Here are the results of her scavenger hunt!!!
