Tonights canvas - just simple acrylics on canvas - I used metallics on her hair so it shimmers :)
This canvas is wood and is a simple old plinth that I picked up at a thrift store and reused. I prepped the background with various papers and painted over it, and then used scrolls of paper which I then inked and used mists on. I finished with a few embellishments:

This is a page in my art journal. I was exhausted the last few days after rushing about non stop, and I ended up feeling quite low physically and emotionally. Just run down from taking on too much. I wanted to do a page to remind myself that sometimes you just HAVE to slow down:
